3 Years of Passion and Love of Coffee

Central Coffee Co is a coffee shop located on Central Avenue with great coffee and design. Tuesday was the coffee shop’s 3 year anniversary and as usual with Charlotte’s coffee community that means a latte art competition. This was my second Latte Art competition and I hope I captured the passion that was in the room for coffee. Latte Art is the name for the images found on certain types of your caffeinated beverages. I appreciate the leaves and hearts found on my drinks. It is a craft that would take me years to learn and I enjoy seeing others express their love of it.
The first Latte Art competition I wrote about was at Not Just Coffee’s 1 year anniversary. I remember the passion and excitement was palpable; however, I had trouble capturing it in the photos. There are very few coffee shops in Charlotte independently owned. I hope this time I was able to catch the enjoyment in the success of this Charlotte small business.
Jimmy Kleto, the owner of central coffee, has surrounded himself with employees, customers, family, and friends who love coffee and his business. It is a difficult task for a brick and mortar business to survive for three years and the way Central Coffee Co has done it is through letting its love and passion for coffee flow through its community. Congratulations to Jimmy Kleto and Central Coffee Co! I am sure there will be plenty more years ahead for you.
